Shark attacks woman on dolphin excursion in the Bahamas
The woman, 37, reportedly suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted.
A 37-year-old woman from Austria reportedly suffered injuries after being attacked by a shark while swimming off the coast of an island of the Bahamas, according to police.

The woman was attacked about 3.5 miles off the coast of Bimini Island while swimming during a dolphin excursion, according to the Royal Bahamas Police Force.
She reportedly suffered serious injuries to her right ankle and was airlifted to receive further medical treatment in New Providence, the Bahamas' most populous island, according to authorities.
Based on preliminary information, the woman was initially transported to Bimini Community Clinic shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, following the attack, police said.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
