The source said that the vice president made a strong case for supporting redistricting while fielding questions from Indiana lawmakers.

Trump admin asks Supreme Court to allow LA immigration tactics to resume

The Trump administration filed an emergency petition with the Supreme Court Thursday seeking a green light to resume some immigration enforcement tactics in central California that a federal judge had found unlawful.

The judge had concluded that "roving patrols" by DHS, apprehending immigrants solely on the basis of factors like race, accent, the type of work they do and presence at a particular location, violated the Fourth Amendment.

Solicitor General D. John Sauer says the lower court injunction is significantly interfering with federal enforcement responsibilities and must be rolled back.

Sauer also claims that the injunction across central California violates the Court's recent ruling curbing the ability of federal judges to provide relief to non-plaintiffs in a case.

The Supreme Court will likely seek a response from the ACLU respondents before making a decision.

Moore and Trump displayed charts with figures going back to the Biden Administration, but did not make any further details as to where the reportedly unreported data came from.
