Trump predicts 'there will be others' after Comey indictment

President Donald Trump on Friday weighed in on the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey and predicted there would be more people who face charges.

"It’s not a list, but I think there will be others," Trump said. "I mean, they're corrupt. These were corrupt, radical left Democrats."

"Frankly, I hope there are because you can't let this happen to a country," he later said.

Trump announces new tariffs on cabinets, trucks, pharmaceuticals

President Donald Trump announced new tariffs on a range of goods -- including on some bathroom and kitchen furnishings, pharmaceuticals and large trucks -- in a series of social media posts on Thursday.

Trump said he will impose a 50% tariff on all cabinets, bathroom vanities and other associated products starting on Oct. 1.

"The reason for this is the large scale 'FLOODING' of these products into the United States by other outside Countries," Trump said in the post. "It is a very unfair practice, but we must protect, for National Security and other reasons, our Manufacturing process."

Trump also said he would impose a 30% tariff on upholstered furniture.

In a separate post, Trump said he would enact a 25% tariff on all "Heavy (Big!) Trucks" made in other parts of the world. This is also set to go into effect on Oct. 1

Finally, Trump said he would impose a 100% tariff on any branded or patented pharmaceutical product unless the company is actively building its manufacturing plant in the U.S.

It is not clear yet what medications will incur this new tariff. The U.S. already has a framework trade deal with the EU for a 15% tariff on most goods, where many branded drugs are manufactured.

The association that represents most large U.S. pharmaceutical companies said in a statement most of the latest medications prescribed in the U.S. are made in the U.S.

Details of the memorandum weren't immediately available, but officials said it would involve increased efforts from the Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of the Treasury.

Antifa is not a group. It is a political philosophy or movement and the term comes from the longer “anti-fascist.” It’s used as a catchall for groups that oppose the concept of authoritarianism, neo-Nazism and white supremacy.

"We're looking at the funders of a lot of these groups," Trump said.

"When you see the signs and they're all beautiful signs made professionally, these are the protesters that make the sign in their basement late in the evening because they really believe that these are anarchists and agitators, professional anarchists and agitators, and they get hired by wealthy people," the president added without evidence.
