In the Wyoming Senate race, Trump-backed Rep. Harriet Hageman is projected to win the GOP nomination defeating four challengers, according to the AP.

In 2022, Trump promoted Hageman in a primary challenge to then-GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, who co-chaired the House select committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Hageman is looking to succeed retiring Republican Sen. Cynthia Lummis.

In the general election, Hageman will face former state Rep. James Byrd, who was the projected winner of the Democratic primary, according to the AP.

Voters weighed in on the governor's race and congressional primaries to choose their nominees for November's general election.
