'Conclave' wins best adapted screenplay
Peter Straughan won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay for "Conclave."
In his speech, Straughan thanked the cast, crew and his daughter, among others.
Other nominees in the category included Jay Cocks and James Mangold for "A Complete Unknown"; Clint Bentley and Greg Kwedar for "Sing Sing"; Joslyn Barnes and RaMell Ross for "Nickel Boys"; and Jacques Audiard, Léa Mysius, Thomas Bidegain and Nicolas Livecchi for "Emilia Pérez."
